Obituary for Bill Perry

Bill  Perry
Bill Perry, 75, of Concord, formerly of Black Mountain, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Mr. Perry was born August 16, 1941 in Burke County to the late Ulys Perry Sr. and Opal Dellinger Perry. He loved his family, camping, fishing, and his puppies, Charlie and Chet. Bill retired from Kearfott after 42 years and was a veteran of the US Navy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Russell Eugene Perry.
Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna Lucas Perry; children, Billy Perry (Danielle) of Swannanoa and Debbi Crisp (Gary) of Kannapolis; grandchildren, BJ Perry (Marlana), Meghan Perry, Sara Crisp, Ethan Crisp, and Kaitlyn Lambert; great grandchildren, Ellie Perry, Maddie Perry, and Corbin Perry; sister-in-law, Sharon Primm (Kirby); and brother-in-law, Jerry Lucas.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
