Obituary for Pearl H. Trexler

Pearl H. Trexler, 86, of Black Mountain passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017.
Mrs. Trexler was born April 20, 1931 in Polk County to the late Paul and Leona Waters High. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Black Mountain.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Trexler; daughter, Susan T. Morris; and siblings, Ernest and Wilburn Waters and Geraldine Suddeth.
Pearl is survived by her sons, Steve Turner (Clara) of Black Mountain and Bill Turner (Linda) of Swannanoa; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and special friend, Bob Atkins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church, Black Mountain with Rev. Jeremy Shoulta and Rev. Brent Bolick officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Burial will be at 2:00pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Mountain Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Mrs. Trexler.
