Carol was a very dear friend and so special to me. She impacted my life as we spent time together almost every day for nearly 15 years. I will never forget Carol. She was like a part of my family. I will always be thankful that God brought Carol back to the NC mountains and used her in so many ways. I am sad but have a flood of memories and our talks over these last 26 years. I am indebted to her for her service in the military. I cherish all the laughter and times celebrating birthdays and dinners at each other's homes. I wish I could thank Carol for everything. She always "had my back." She was family.
