Condolence: To the Moore family, I can share only what you have known, that Shaw was a wonderful man who made working nights at Mission so much more a pleasure. Shaw always had a positive attitude, a great sense of humor, and the determination to do what was right for our patients. He comforted many patients and families, and brought smiles to staff. Shaw was a true example of a professional with a genuinely kind bedside manner. He will be missed and remembered. My family will be praying for you this Christmas. Glenn Bacon ("Crispy" per Shaw)

Condolence: I worked with Shaw at Mission for many years on the night and evening shifts and he was always so pleasant to be around. He always had a smile and a warm comment for everyone and the last time I saw him was Monday before he passed and he was his usual sweet self. That is how I will always remember him. He will truly be missed, both as a Nurse and as a friend. Stephanie Hampton, CST Operating Room, Mission Hospital

Condolence: Shaw was like family to my family. I met him as a volunteer at Mission hospital he worked with my grandma in a Food and Nutrition. When I became as security officer at Mission was when he finished nursing school and was a RN. Shaw was always witty and make working so much fun, even when it was slammed. When I found out I was pregnant, my daughter was known as “Shawlina” we had a house fire before she was born, when he found out he made me and mom a spaghetti dinner with apple pie for dessert. Shaw was one of a kind. If he was your friend he would be there if you needed him. I guess God needed him more than us. Colton, Dylan and Holly I can’t imagine what you’re going through, but with all families we’re here if you need us. We love you.
