Gladys B. Sneed, 95, of Asheville passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018.
Mrs. Sneed was born May 10, 1922 in Erwin, TN to the late Horace G. and Carrie Craine Blankenship. She lived most of her life in Buncombe County.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John T. Sneed; sister, Lydia Riddle; and brothers, Odie, Murphy, and Hartsel Blankenship.
Gladys is survived by her son, Ronnie Sneed (Becki) of Charlotte; sister, Sandra Boone (Tommy) of Black Mountain; grandchildren, Kimberly Faulk (Mike) and Karyn Steed (Ryan); and great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Brooklyn, Austin, and Ryan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00am in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Ronnie Sneed officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 9, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals.
