Obituary for David Arthur Johnson
David “Arthur” Johnson, 69, of Black Mountain passed away Friday, February 9, 2018.
Arthur was born August 22, 1948 in Avery County to the late Walter Brinkley and Mary Teaster Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Thompson, Novella Campbell, and Garnett Harris.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Diane, Billie, Anna, Mary, and Amanda; sons, David and Adam; sister, Lorita Harris; brother-in-law, Glenn Harris with whom he made his home; several grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
