Floyd Robinson, 85, of Old Fort, went to be with the Lord, March 8, 2018.
Mr. Robinson was born July 22, 1932 in McDowell County to the late Carl and Agnes Lanning Robinson.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Floyd loved talking about his Lord and enjoyed studying the Bible. He was also a member of Tim Gregg and The Happy Valley Boys and The Victory Echo’s.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Coleen Hudgins Robinson; daughters, Arlene Autrey (Jimmy) of Marion and Tammy Silver (Gerald) of Swannanoa; sisters, Pauline Ollis and Elizabeth Stevens; brothers, Albert, Robert, Leroy, Ernie, and Lloyd Robinson; granddaughter, Karia Duggins (Josh) of Old Fort; great-grandson, Gavin Duggins; and many other special family members.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Victory Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 2:00pm with Rev. Randy Gregg and Rev. Royce Dockery officiating.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
