Ruth Nunley, 93, of Swannanoa passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018.
Mrs. Nunley was born July 9, 1924 in Macon County to the late Henry and Margaret Mason and lived most of her life in Buncombe County.
She was a member of God’s Way Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nunley and infant son, Ronald Gene Nunley.
Ruth is survived by her siblings, Verlus Mason (Juanita), James Mason (Kay), and Maxine Mackey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00pm at God’s Way Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Burton officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
