Obituary for Chester Junior Bullman

Chester J. Bullman, 80, of Black Mountain, went home to be with his Lord on March 30, 2018.
Chester was born May 15, 1937 in Madison County to the late McKinley and Etta Bullman. He was a master upholsterer, a Deacon at Burgins Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, and he served in the US Army with the Old Guard Caisson Platoon. Chester was a loving husband and father who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Chester is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sarah “Clara” Bullman; daughters, Judy Bullman of Nashville, TN and Mary Bade (Steve) of Belgium; brothers, Homer Bullman of Walnut and Monroe Bullman (Roma) of Candler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 1:30 to 3:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals with a celebration of life service immediately following with Rev. Furman Dills officiating.
Burial will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
