Obituary for Troy Lewis Allen
Troy Lewis Allen, 80, of Black Mountain, passed away May 24, 2018.
Troy was born January 8, 1938 in Yancey County, NC to the late Earl Allen and Ruby Pruitt. He lived most of his life in Buncombe County.
Troy is survived by his loving wife, Genevie of 62 years; his children, Kathy Hall (Douglas), Donald Allen (Elyshia), Daniel Allen (Susie), Stanley Allen (Angie), and Steve Allen (Crystal); 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Russell Allen (Shelby), Hoyt Pruitt (Jean), Arthur Allen (Kathy), and Zelma Jo Waldrop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Elwood Allen and Virgil Allen (Charlotte); and sister, Sandra Allen.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Burgin’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with a celebration of life service immediately following.
