Obituary for Will A. Melton
Will A. Melton, 92, of Black Mountain, passed away May 26, 2018.
He was born August 30, 1925 in Buncombe County to the late Julius and Josie Melton. Will was a veteran of the US Army, US Navy and US Air Force with 26 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer and Julius Melton; and sister, Mitsy Todd.
Will is survived by his sister, Georgia Alexander; nieces and nephews, Patricia Crook (Mike), Bobby Alexander, Sheila Swann (Mark), Harold Melton, Josie Eaves, and Jean Harmon (Charles); numerous great nieces and nephews; and caretaker, Tina Mayner.
A private graveside service will be held.
