Obituary for Mary "Kathern" Arrowood (Hendrix)

Mary "Kathern"  Arrowood (Hendrix)
Mary “Kathern” Arrowood, 81, of Rutherford County, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2018.
Kathern was born December 5, 1936 to the late Floyd and Annie Sue Hendrix. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and she retired from Master Craft after 40 years of service. Kathern was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arrowood; son, Billy Bradley; sister, Martha Blackwell; and brother, Robert Hendrix.
Kathern is survived by her children, Johnny Bradley, Ronnie Bradley, Dennis Bradley, Donald Bradley, Ann Mitchem and Tammy Whitmire; step son, Johnny Arrowood; sisters, Diane Bradley and Brenda Black; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Harwood Home for Funerals with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following.
Burial will be at 12:00pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
