Kester F. Branch, 90, of Asheville passed away peacefully Sunday, September 9, 2018 at The Laurels of Summit Ridge.
Mr. Branch was born August 22, 1928 in Yancey County to the late Kelse and Colleen Branch.
He was a member of Buckeye Baptist Church where he served many years as a Deacon.
Kester is survived by his wife, Etheline Branch; daughter, Mona Allen (Joe) of Haw Creek; sons, Hal Branch (Penny) of Canton and Tim Branch (Nancy) of Black Mountain; grandchildren, Jimi (Renee), Clint (Joy), Jake (Stacy), Briana, Brian (Cari), Katy (Jeremy), and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Josiah, Carleigh, Rachel, Ramsey, Adaley, Hudson, Colton, Skylar, Leigha, and Eli.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00am in Buckeye Baptist Church. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
