Lottie Lee McDaniel Craig, 94, of Swannanoa, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018.
Mrs. Craig was born February 7, 1924 to the late Enoch and Bertha Searcy McDaniel.
Lottie was a person of nature, enjoying rocks, trees, flowers, animals and seashells.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Craig; sons, Chris and David Craig; grandsons, Jonathan Craig and Michael Lunsford; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Lunsford (Roger); son, Roger Craig (Karen); niece-daughter, Carolyn Ballard; sister, Edna Wishon; brother, Wayne McDaniel; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Rev. James Lamb officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
