Message to the Family: We have so many great memories with “Red”. He was a mentor, Chief, and most importantly a FRIEND to many people. Many conversations started out with “ now boys”.......... one of our last conversations he talked about how much he loved the fire dept and how the fire department was almost all the family he had left after the passing of his wife and two daughters. We all knew how much he loved his “girls”. In conversations with him if he referred to “the girls” we knew he was referring to Ilia, Vickie or Kim.......if he referred to “the boys “ he was referring to his fire department family. Rest easy Chief , we are glad that you have reunited with your “girls” and “the boys” will take it from here.

Message to the Family: We wish to extend our deepest sympathy. Ronald was a major part of the success of the Fairview Volunteer Fire Department. He will be greatly missed.
