Jill King Brewer, 67, passed away at her home in Swannanoa, NC with family by her side early on October 3rd, 2018. Although her battle with cancer was short, she fought hard. It is hard for us to comprehend in this moment how we will live on without her, but we have the confidence that she is with Christ now, happy and without pain.
Mrs. Brewer shared her innate nurturing spirit and love for children through her work as a secretary and school nurse for Owen District of Buncombe County Schools.
She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Beulah King.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Don Brewer of 35 years of marriage; her daughters, Tammy Tannehill (Husband, Scott), Molly Hughes (Husband, Dan), and Rachel Rice (Husband, Jason); son, Josh Brewer (Wife, Lea); sister, Kim Bancroft (Husband, John); and 12 beautiful grandchildren.
The service will be held at Harwood Home for Funerals, Friday, October 5th at 7pm. Burial will be Saturday, October 6th at 11am at Sky View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 7pm on Friday at the funeral home.
