Howard T. Allison, 72, of Swannanoa passed away Friday, October 19, 2018.
Mr. Allison was born March 8, 1946 in McDowell County to the late Luther and Edith Allison.
He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army, 1st Infantry Division.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby and Billy Allison and Elizabeth Cook.
Howard is survived by his wife, Annette Allison; children, Cindy Gurecky and James Allison; brother, Earl Allison (Peggy); three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 22, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals.
