Obituary for Lois Price (Freeman)

Lois Freeman Price, 88, of Black Mountain passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 with her family by her side.
Mrs. Price was born May 22, 1930 in Madison County to the late Floyd and Gladys Cooper Freeman. Lois was a member of Grove Stone Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, taking care of young children in her home. She was known to many of them as “Pricey” and she loved watching them grow in the community. Lois loved her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hillard Price and siblings, Nina, Gordon, Carmen, Helen, Wade, and Blanche.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Teresa Miller (Jimmy) of Old Fort; sons, James Price and Tommy Gregg (Allison) of Black Mountain; granddaughters, Hali Jones (Dillon) and Liliana Gregg; great granddaughter, Alivia Jones; and brother, Arvil Freeman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. Joel Burton officiating. Burial will follow in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
