Harwood Home for Funerals and Cremation Services offers a variety of services to meet your needs. Some those services include, but are not limited to, Traditional, Cremation, Cemetery Sales, Monuments, Pre-planning, Video Tributes, Doves, Memorial Candles and Tribute Blankets.

Traditional

Harwood Home for Funerals and Cremation Services provides caskets, outer burial containers and funeral service choices in a variety of prices ranges.There also may be fees that are beyond the control of the funeral home which may include but are not limited to, cemetery fees, tax, floral arrangements, newspaper articles, and death certificates.

Cremation

We offer a wide range of urns and urn vaults for cremation. For the cremation process there are a few guidelines the funeral home must abide by according to the state law. The guidelines are as follows: 24 hours from the time of death must pass, the funeral home has to have a copy of a signed death certificate from the physician or medical examiner and the Application for Cremation must be signed by the survivor(s); legal next of kin.

Monuments

We offer a wide variety of monuments for family's to select. They can be chosen and ordered on site at our office at Mountain View Memorial Park. Monuments vary in shape, size and color. They may be upright, flat, or beveled. They may be bronze or granite. For more information, please contact us.

Pre-Planning

There are many advantages to planning a funeral ahead of time. It seems easier and less stressful to ask questions and put in writing your personal wishes. Your family will be very grateful for you taking the time to let them know exactly what you prefer. For more information, please contact us.

Video Tributes

We at Harwood Home for Funerals and Cremation Services would like to use family photos to help you remember your loved ones during special times. Photos are arranged on a DVD allowing guests who attend the visitation the opportunity to view their living legacy. We understand how precious and irreplaceable photos are, therefore your video is created in house and your pictures will be returned to you. The original video is given to the family and additional copies are available for purchase.

Doves

Doves are symbols of love and bearers of peace. White doves carry comfort to those who need comfort, and lift happy memories above on a sad day as they begin their journey home. Sincere smiles arise from children and adults as downy white doves fly up toward the sky and spirits are uplifted. Beautiful white doves deliver stoic tranquility to encircle a memorial service with honor and dignity in a fitting tribute.

Memorial Candles

Memorial candles can be a peaceful, soothing way to let the light of your loved one shine all year long. Like with the videos, we request one photo of your loved on that will be returned to you.
