Condolence: Dear Doris,
I'm a stranger, but came across your daughters' obituary. I give my condolences. She was beautiful, and I'm sure the pain is deep and fresh. If I may, wanted to leave a message:Jesus’ resurrection of Lazarus is especially noteworthy, since Lazarus had been dead for four days and Jesus performed the miracle before a crowd of people. (John 11:39, 42) I am convinced that your daughter will return and God has the power to do so.

Condolence: The Lord shared Paula with her family and friends
For a while and then...
He took her home and we think her life ends.
Oh, but there, on the streets of gold
Paula lives and we can't see or be told,
Of the awesome rejoicing that is happening
On those streets of purest gold.
Jesus took his little Lamb home.
Praises are being sung,
Bells are being rung.
and Paula lives there.
Her life here has ended but there;
Paula lives forevermore!

Condolence: What rejoicing we can share knowing Paula is no longer in pain. This battle with cancer has taken its toll on those who have loved her so deeply. There are so many incredible memories of joy and happiness shared with Paula. She had creativity, generosity, gaiety, delight, sincerity, spontaneity, beauty, imagination, dreams and love to share with others who knew her. We miss you sweet Paula. I am sorry Doris, Marty, Aaron, Anne, Elly and Eli for your loss. A loss not just of Paula now but of all the might have been's as well. May you be comforted through this journey of grief and healing with prayers and love from friends and family.

The loss of a child and sibling creates a special kind of grief . Friends will gather around you and give you a measure of strength to make the days ahead just a little brighter. May God bless you all and may Paula now find relief from her suffering in her home in Heaven.

Condolence: Dear Doris, Marty, Dianna and Family,
I cannot even tell you how sorry I am for the loss of Paula. I have such great memories of her and all the years we took dance together. I will never forget her being at the last dance recital I was able to have for my studio and I made her come up on the stage so I could introduce her and talk about all our years of dance recitals. She didn't want to come up on that stage but I made her and it was so funny and so much fun to have her there. I was a JV cheerleader at Owen when she was a Varsity and she was so proud of me. We also worked for Commonwealth and she called me and was so happy for me when I was hired in the Asheville office. She wanted me to work in Raleigh but I couldn't. She stayed in touch with Mama when I had my brain surgery at Duke Hospital and she prayed for me. She wanted Mama to stay at her house while I was in that hospital for almost a month, but Mama and Daddy had to stay right close to me after my surgery. Paula was a great person and so full of life and love. I love her and will always have her in my heart. My memories of Paula are amazing. I know she is Heaven with Jesus and will be so happy. We will be with her one day. All my love and prayers are and will always be with you and your wonderful family. Tammie Whisnant
