Obituary for Hugh Bryant Deane

Hugh Bryant  Deane
Hugh Bryant Deane, 88, of Black Mountain, passed away August 26, 2014 at Memorial Mission Hospital.
He was born October 17, 1925 in McDowell County to the late Melvin and Cora Deane.
Hugh was a proud graduate of Old Fort High School, class of 1942 of which he was Class President. He moved to Black Mountain as young man to work for Brunner and Lay. In 1963, he was Asst. Deputy Clerk of Criminal Record of Buncombe County where he retired after 27 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Lucille Snyder and Jo Webb; and recently his nephew, Richard Bradley Burgess.
Hugh is survived by his sister, Katherryn Deane Burgess of Black Mountain; many nieces and nephews who called him “Unk Hugh”.
Burial will be private.
