Eugene “Gene” Allen, 76, of Asheville, passed away November 27, 2014.
Gene was born November 20, 1938 to the late Frank and Mary Foster Allen. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Swannanoa.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Elna Garvin and Pauline Allen; and brothers, Vernon Allen, John G. Allen, and Frank Allen, Jr.
Gene is survived by his sister, Nadine Rudeen; nieces, Cheryl Ann Feathers, and Kendra Rudeen; and nephews, Butch Garvin, David G. Allen, Brian Garvin, and John G. Allen, Jr.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Piney Grove Cemetery in Swannanoa.
The family would like to express their appreciation and love to the staff at Asheville Nursing and Rehabilitation for all their loving kindness to Gene.
