Michael Thad Breedlove, 53, of Swannanoa, passed away February 18, 2015.
Mr. Breedlove was born April 30, 1961 in Buncombe County. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, friend and papaw.
Michael was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lou Breedlove and grandparents, Pearl and Carmie Smith, Ellis and Faye Breedlove.
Michael is survived by his wife, Mary Breedlove; daughters, Ashley Breedlove (Doug Carver) and Robin Buckner; brother, Matthew Breedlove (Pam); granddaughter, Olivia Carver; father, Ed Breedlove; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the WNC State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
