Obituary for Frances Lucille Mundy
Frances L. Mundy, 88, of Black Mountain passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Ms. Mundy was born August 31, 1926 in Buncombe County where she lived all her life. She was a lifelong member of Homers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Frances retired from Beacon Mfg. with many years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Pearson and Pansy Wilson Mundy; brother, James W. Mundy; and niece, Patricia A. Shores.
Frances is survived by her nephew, William “Bill” Mundy; nieces, Barbara Hedrick and Martha Lowery all of Mocksville; and several great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Homers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Revs. Doug Mathis and Larry Coates officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
