Barbara Pruett, 76, of Black Mountain passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
Mrs. Pruett loved dancing and traveling. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Barbara retired from the Black Mountain Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lucille Mason; husband, Charles R. Pruett; brothers, Richard and David Mason; and grandson, Vincent Tanner Angeles.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Deborah Bryant, Veronica Hix, and Susan Pruett; sisters, Vivian Taylor and Teresa Smith; brothers, Mack, Garry, and Tim Mason; and grandchildren, Amber Bryant, Scarlett Pruett, Caleb Wright, Emily, Sarah, Samuel, Daniel, David and Anna Hix; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals.
A memorial graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Black Mountain City Cemetery.
