Obituary for Thomas Jason "JBird" Owenby

Thomas Jason “JBird” Owenby, 37, of Black Mountain passed away Friday, November 6, 2015.
Jason is survived by his daughter, Makayla Madeline Owenby; parents, Ina and Raymond Owenby; sister, Anna Dyson (Daniel Effler); favorite uncle, Kenneth Owenby; niece and nephew, Colby McMahan and Jeremy Gregg; great niece and nephews, Aaliyah Harwood, O’Mauri Drayton, and Landon Wilson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
