James Timothy “Bobo” Harvey, Sr., 55 of Swannanoa, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015.
Tim was born July 10, 1960 in Buncombe County to Nancy Jo Harvey and the late Walter Leon Harvey. He loved to fish, travel, and socialize. He also loved his family, friends and church family at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church where he was a member. Tim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Hensley, and brothers, Tony Harvey and Michael Harvey.
Tim is survived by his wife, Tammy Austin Harvey; son, James Harvey, Jr. “JT”; stepson, Shane Sawyer; mother, Nancy Jo Harvey; siblings, Wanda Robinson (Jerry), Teresa Green (Tony), Vicki Snyder, and Cathy Burton (Jeff); grandchildren, Cheyenne Sawyer, Jase Harvey and Zachary Harvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church with Reverends Frank Cantrell, Randy Stone, and Danny Gasperson officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Free Will Baptist Church or to assist his family.
