Margaret Bridges Bryant, 93, of Swannanoa, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016.
Mrs. Bryant was born May 18, 1922 to the late Clifford and Annie Bridges. She retired from Sears with over 30 years of service. Margaret enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was dedicated to her family and Buckeye Baptist Church, where she was a member.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bryant; sisters, Doris Owensby, Dorcas Hollifield, Pauline Gragg; brothers, Hugh, Carl, James Fay and Tommie Bridges.
Margaret is survived by her son, Terry Bryant (Sheila) of Swannanoa; sister, Joan Dunlop; brother, Jerry Bridges; granddaughters, Lynn Hollingsworth (Michael) and her son, Cameron, and Lori Swink (Quinn), and their son, Garrin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Buckeye Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Cribbs officiating. Burial will follow in Sky View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
