Obituary for Frazier Nathaniel "Nate" Morrow

Frazier “Nate” Morrow, age 69 of Black Mountain passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at Charles George VA Medical Center after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Born September 14, 1947, he was the son of the late James “Pim” H. Morrow and Ethel Mae Quinn Morrow. He was retired from the US Army after 20 plus years of service. He loved his family, friends, and country. He was known for his contagious smile and love for his fellow veterans.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Morrow and JP Morrow and a grandson, Benjamin Morrow.
He is survived by his children, Tammie Earwood (Darrell) of Fairview, Margarett Elmonus of Fairview, and Pastor Tommy Morrow (Julie) of Nicholasville, KY; grandchildren, Megan, Tommy Jr., Stephen, CJ, and Timothy; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 12:30pm at Swannanoa Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Brother DeLain Whittemore and Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00pm following the funeral service.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals.
