Condolence: Frankie, Paula, and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Roger's death. He was a fine man and a great friend. He'd always come by the Sourwood Festival and spend a little while with me, filling me in on everybody's happenings for the past while. This past year we talked about maybe playing as a duet in next year's festival. His smile and sly grin and happy attitude was contageous, and he always left others in a happy mood. And he and Frankie made the very best cheeseburgers I ever ate! God bless you all. We'll miss him, but we'll see our pal again; ... and pretty soon, I think. I love you guys. Gary.

Condolence: We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family, we are so sorry for your loss. We have known Roger for over 20 years. I was his Brightleaf sales rep & we would work truckload sales together & we'd have so much fun. He was a super nice person & I not only called him a customer but also a dear friend. He was my brother in Christ too & we shared our testimonies over the years. He will be missed by all who knew him. We pray that God will comfort all with beautiful memories until meet again.

Condolence: My dearest sweet sister in Christ, I want to tell you the first time I ever saw Roger, you will have to smile, I went to the fishing tournament at the lagoon and there was this Santa Claus figure sitting in a boat catching fish, when no one else had a bite. I learned later that that Roger was the great bearded fisherman of Biltmore. I also got to know you his precious wife. He had such a great smile and spirit about him. I know the Lord has prepared a great big fishing boat with Rogers name printed on it and he is catching the really big one. Not many people get such a wonderful life to share together for such a great season. My blessings and prayers go out to you, your children, grand children and greats. May you be lifted up and carried by the hand of God during this time.
