Nancy C. Dougherty, 83, of Black Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2017.
Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church, Black Mountain where she was a former pianist and worked in the library. She was a wonderful mother to her three children and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Charlotte Dougherty; and daughters, Cynthia Ann Ladner and Tammy Elaine Ladner.
Nancy is survived by her son, Jamie Ladner (Mary Elizabeth).
The family will receive friends Monday, November 27, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Black Mountain with a celebration of life service immediately following.
Burial will be in the Black Mountain City Cemetery.
