Trilby H. Blankenship, 90, of Black Mountain passed away Monday, March 5, 2018.
Mrs. Blankenship was born March 17, 1927 in Buncombe County to the late Gayles Hudgins and Dollie Padgett.
She retired from Kearfott with over 30 years of service and was a member of Kerlee Heights Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Blankenship and son, Jack Blankenship.
Trilby is survived by her daughter, Debbie Wilson (Vernon) of Sevierville, TN; sisters, Camilla Burnett and Mary Sneed both of Black Mountain; brothers, Albert Padgett of Spartanburg, SC and Robert Padgett of Black Mountain; and two grandchildren, Chad Wilson and David Blankenship.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 12:30pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. Kenneth Rhinehart and Rev. Charles Duyck officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 12:30pm, Thursday prior to the service time.
Burial will follow in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
