Obituary for Spergion Lee Henry

Spergion Lee  Henry
Spergion Lee Henry, 74, of Asheville, passed away March 20, 2018.
Spergion was born April 28, 1943 in Jackson County to the late Spergion Alexander and Edna Fuller Henry. He was a retired plumber and pipe fitter at the local 421, and he was a member of Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela Duckett Henry; daughter, Julie Henry of Sylva, NC; son, David Henry (Debra) of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Doris Ann Norman and Sharon Rhodes (Buzz); grandchildren, Cassidy, Marisa, Jordan, Ryder, Taylor and Alex; and great grandchildren, Laylah and Zyanna.
A celebration of life service will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Oakley Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Pierce and Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Emma’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Flowers are acceptable and appreciated or the family requests that memorial gifts be made to CarePartners Home Health, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Becky, Barbara, David, Cathy, Amy, Chaplain Kelly, and Jay for their love and support of Spergion.
